Although our ancestors have bequeathed to us the wisdom of how to domesticate intuition, many people think of these old religious masters as antiquarian relics who wrote without criticizing the patriarchy, racism, and the misogynism of their times. But the shared dream that has to take us beyond form is to judge them by their character and the content of their teachings and not throw the baby out with the bath water.
